Hello! My name is Ms. Chavez, and I am the new Restorative Coach at Slaughter Elementary! I recently graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a master’s in School Counseling and have a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology from Mississippi State University. A fun fact about me is that I was a college cheerleader at Mississippi State, HAIL STATE, and I am originally from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Some of my favorite things in life are Harry Potter, my dog Millie, and of course, mental health! In my free time, I love to bake bread, try out new restaurants, and take walks with Millie. I am eager to get started and excited to meet some new faces!
