Policies and Guidelines
In order to maintain a safe and orderly education environment, students at McKinney High School are asked to abide according to a certain standard of conduct. These standards are outlined in the following three documents:
Academic Essentials
Naviance is the first place you should visit if you are searching for any counseling form or need any information regarding your academic plan. Log in using your student ID number and password.
Home Access Center (HAC) allows you to track your grades, attendance, standardized testing and upcoming assignments. Contact your House Office Secretary if you do not know your log-in information.
The MISD Academic Planning Guide is the official document outlining course descriptions, requirements and policies, and other pertinent information.
Green Cord Program
The Green Cord Program is an opportunity for students to become more engaged with their community by participating in community service. The program allows us to recognize students who demonstrate a willingness and a passion to volunteer their time and labor in serving others. Students can earn a green cord which they wear during their graduation ceremony by accruing a minimum of 100 hours of community service. McKinney High School Library
The library at McKinney High School is a great academic resource. The McKinney High School Library website extends the benefits that they library provides. Access the library catalog, research databases, electronic resources, access to student emails, and required reading lists.
Clubs & Organizations
MHS hosts a large variety of clubs and organizations that provide opportunities for students to both connect with each other and expand their knowledge in specific areas.
