We are excited to bring you information about McKinney High School’s graduation and other upcoming senior events!  Included below are important dates and information.  Each graduate will be given a set number of tickets for their guests to share in their big day!

GENERAL GRADUATION INFORMATION:

Location: Credit Union of Texas Event Center

Senior Arrival Time: 11:30am

Doors Open: 12pm

Graduation Practice: May 23, 2024 in the MHS Aux Gym – THIS IS MANDATORY!

• September 16, 2023: Dec The Halls (HoCo); 9am – 4pm
• September 18, 2023: Powder Puff Football Games
• September 20, 2023: HoCo Court Nominee Rehearsal
• September 21, 2023: Beat the Drum – Begins @ 7pm
• September 22, 2023: Beat the Drum – Ends @ 7pm
• September 23, 2023: HoCo Dance; 7:30pm – 10:30pm @ MHS Cafeteria
• October 11, 2023: Josten’s Senior Cap and Gowns meeting; 9:30am @ MHS PAC
• October 31, 2023: Deadline for senior yearbook ads
• November 30, 2023: Josten’s deadline for best pricing for Senior Orders (cap, gown, invites, etc.)
• February 7, 2024: Deadline for MORP guest forms; 10:15am in C101
• February 10, 2024: MORP at Watters Creek Convention Center; 7pm – 11pm
• March 31, 2024: Graduation cap decoration forms available online and in C101
• TBA: Deadline to order cap and gown for the April 17th pick-up during all lunches
• April: Apple Laptop Buyout Letters
• April 17, 2024: Cap and gown delivery (pick-up during all lunches)
• April 20, 2024: Prom guest forms available in C101 and social media
• April 20, 2024: Prom ticket flash sale for $40 during all lunches (clear all holds!
• April 28, 2024: Graduation cap forms due by 2:30pm in C101
• April 30, 2024: Senior Awards @ MHS PAC at 5:30pm (invites will be sent to award winners)
• May 1, 2024: MEF Awards (invites will be sent to award winners)
• May 7, 2024: Deadline for Prom Guest Form approval by 10:15am in C101
• May 10, 2024: Deadline to pay for Apple laptop at www.payschoolcentral.com
• May 11, 2024: Senior Prom at the Cotton Mill from 7pm – 11pm
• May 14, 2024: Apple laptop purchase (cash only) or return deadline to Library
• May 20, 2024: Senior Breakfast at MISD elementary schools
• May : Baccalaureate
• May : Senior Sunset at MHS Softball field
• May 23, 2024: PTO Breakfast at 7:45am
• May 23, 2024: MANDATORY graduation practice at 8:45am @ MHS Aux Gym
• May : Project Graduation @ MISD Stadium from 10pm – 5:30am
