About

Yaryzza Lira is the advisor of the MHS yearbook, The Lion. She also teaches journalism and photojournalism, which are prerequisite courses for yearbook. Ms. Lira grew up in Austin, Texas and moved north to attend the University of North Texas. She graduated with a degree in journalism education and a minor in political science. Ms. Lira loves sharing her passion for story-telling with her students in journalism, photojournalism and yearbook!
