About

I began my career in Education 33 years ago as a Middle School Special Education teacher. I taught for 8 years and then became a School Counselor most of which has been in High School, but I have been a Counselor in Elementary as well. I earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of North Texas and a Masters Degree from Texas A&M- Commerce. In my free time I love spending time with my husband, being a mom to 2 grown sons and serving as a CASA Volunteer. The best part of my job is working one on one with students to help them grow as a person and achieve their goals for after High School.  My door is always open to student and parents, please do not hesitate to contact me.
