ABOUT MHS PTO

The McKinney High School PTO exists to support all MHS students and staff. The main ways we give back to MHS are through our volunteering and financial contributions. Your membership is needed so that our PTO can continue to strongly support MHS.

Even if you have already joined a booster club for your high-schooler’s sports team or other extra-curricular activities, we need you to join PTO.

Family memberships are $15, and staff memberships are $10. Additional donations and volunteering are optional, welcomed, and much needed. A strong membership is necessary for the MHS PTO to give McKinney High School the assistance it counts on from us.

JOIN THE PTO

To join MHS PTO, complete the online MHS PTO form or download the printable form. Online, you can pay via PayPal or a credit card. We also accept credit cards, cash, and checks at the PTO table at any back-to-school event. Paper forms and payments can be dropped off in the school office. Please make checks payable to MHS PTO.

For more information about MHS PTO and how your contribution of time and/or money will benefit the students of McKinney High School, please visit us at https://MHSPTO.weebly.com .

FOOTBALL CONCESSION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The PTO staffs one of the concession stands at varsity home football games. All proceeds benefit programs at our school. We need volunteers to help run the concessions for each of the home games this year.

Multiple shifts are available. Volunteers work in teams of two and are needed to work 1-2 lunch shifts a month. A signup is available at https://mhspto.weebly.com/volunteers.html.

MHS SCHOOL STORE

One of MHS PTO’s main sources of revenue, the Roar Store, is open to sell snacks and drinks at lunchtime. Items in the store must meet national health guidelines. We are in the ticket office at the front of the atrium. Volunteers work in teams of two on a set day each month. A recurring, monthly schedule is created at the beginning of each school year.

Please help out if you can, and encourage your students to visit the school store!
