About

Before joining Mckinney ISD, I was an Assistant Principal in Dallas. I started my career in education about ten years ago in Garland ISD as a resource and content mastery aide. I moved into the special education teacher position the following year. After teaching special education I taught fourth grade and was our AVID site coordinator, and Campus Technology Integration Coach. My wife is a teacher and we have four awesome kids ages two to ten. We spend as much of our free time as we can pulling our travel trailer to the coast and state parks all over. We both attended the University of North Texas and are proud Mean Green! My undergraduate is a B.F.A in Art History and I hold a Masters in Education Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont. My hope is that my love of working with kids from all walks of life, art, music, and family are all evident in the work I undertake each day.
