Hello! My name is Nikki Dressel! I am originally from New Orleans but have been in Texas since 1995. I am known as the resident Cajun, so feel free to chat me up any time about my hometown! I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. Sarah, my oldest just graduated from North in May, and will be attending UNT in the fall to pursue her degree in child psychology. My youngest daughter, Kerri, just finished her freshman year at North and has aspirations of becoming an animator. We live in Garland, and I’ve been traveling to McKinney since 2009 to teach our 3rd-5th GT students at Webb Elementary. When the opportunity was presented to transition down to work with the GT K-2 kiddos, I jumped at the chance! I’m absolutely THRILLED to be joining the McGowen team each week as I service the sweet K-2 littles.
