I am excited to have the opportunity to support the amazing teachers & staff at McGowen. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in journalism with teacher certification from the University of North Texas. I have taught at the middle and high school level. I’m familiar with the importance of education and the value of having good mentor support, thanks to my upbringing in McKinney ISD. I enjoy reading up on current events, going on nature walks, and travel.
