Hello! My name is Katie Johnston and I am so excited to be a McGowen Maverick! I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I love spending my time outside of work running, reading, going to the movies, and being with my family! My husband Jim and I have been married since 2009 and have three wonderful children; Wrenley, Hawthorne, and River. I absolutely love teaching and watching children grow both academically and socially!
