J.W. Webb Elementary’s Principal is Maria Hafner.  Ms. Hafner has been an educator since 1995. Prior to being appointed as the principal at J.W. Webb, she served as the assistant principal and interim principal at McClure Elementary.  Prior to working in McKinney, Maria worked in Frisco ISD as a first-grade teacher, reading specialist, and instructional coach.  Before moving to Texas, Maria taught kindergarten and 1st grade in Pinellas County, Florida, and she taught 1st grade and then served as the coordinator of a Professional Development School in Fairfax County, Virginia.  Ms. Hafner is originally from Michigan and attended Michigan State University where she earned a degree in Child Development and Elementary Education. She earned a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of South Florida, and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Maria and her husband, Chris, live in Frisco. Their daughter, Ashlyn, attends Texas A&M University.
