My name is Pam Whan.  This is my 18th year at Valley Creek and my 24th as an educator. I view each year as a fresh adventure and am always looking for new ways to engage my students. While my primary interests lie with teaching Math and Science, I struggled with reading as a child and have developed a passion for helping kids in similar circumstance developing countless strategies to help build their skills and confidence. My goal as an educator is not only to teach the required curriculum, but to encourage creative thinking, problem solving and love of learning in general. I hope to empower each of my students with the skills and confidence necessary to persevere through all of life’s challenges, not just the academic ones, and to become lifelong learners.
