I have been teaching in McKinney for more than twenty years, starting out in Special Education then transitioning to grades 4 and 5. Generally my subjects are math and science, although I did have self-contained classes twice along the way. I have a B.S. degree in engineering with minors in chemistry and math, and this year expect to complete a Master's degree in library science. For 15 years prior to teaching I was an engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration, working all over Alaska as well as stations in Tennessee and Kentucky.
