I grew up in Dallas and attended the University of Arkansas where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After college I worked for Upward Bound helping first generation and low income students get into, and pay, for college. I joined the McKinney Education Foundation in 2014 as MHS's College Advisor. I currently live in Dallas with my husband and Boston Terrier, Pickles, and enjoy reading, hiking, and cooking!
