My name is Marissa San Miguel. I grew up right here in McKinney, and attended McKinney ISD schools from kindergarten until graduating from McKinney North High School. I was fortunate during my time in school to be part of a wonderful educational system and community, and now I am again fortunate enough to be teaching within the same community that helped to shape me. I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce in December of 2020 with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and went on to teach Second Grade in Plano before joining the Second Grade team here at McGowen. When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and being out in nature or reading a good book. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at McGowen!
