I graduated from The State University of New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in Texas since 1993.  I have experience teaching kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grade. This is my first year being a McGowen Maverick. I believe that meaningful learning occurs when students are allowed to confront authentic problems, make choices, and find solutions. I am looking forward to partnering with the staff at McGowen in order to support student growth.
