These great resources can be enjoyed in small amounts. Young children need limited screen time, including ALL devices: TV, computer, phone, and tablet. For children ages 2-5, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no more than 1 hour of media a day, and none within the hour before bedtime. To read more, you can visit the AAP site here.
We do have some suggestions for media use, however.
Whatever media resource you choose, your child will benefit most when you are interacting too. Talk, sing, play, and watch together!
