Physical needed for Athletics/Cheer/Drill

Monday, April 25, 2022

Good afternoon Parents!

Every student in athletics will have to have a physical dated on or after April 1, 2022 to participate for the 2022-2023 school year. If your student is NOT participating in athletics/cheer/drill team then please disregard this message!

Physicals must be completed on the GREEN MISD Physical form, which we began passing out today. Students can either get one from a coach in the gym or at the FMS front office.

You are welcome to get a physical exam from a doctor of your choosing or you may take part in the McKinney ISD physical exam days! All exams are $20 (cash only). Please see the attachment for more information!

Rankone documents are now available online. All of the forms must be completed to participate in the orientation and athletics. You must have your child’s Student ID, you will use digits only, not the S.

Current 6th Graders

Boys 6th grade athletic orientation will be on 5/2, 5/3, and 5/4. This is when the 6th graders will come in before school, locker room doors open at 6:30am, and get to go through athletic workouts. This will allow them to get an idea of what athletics will be like next year. Physicals and Rankone documents must be completed, in order to participate in the orientation. We highly suggest any 6th graders that plan on participating in athletics next year to come to the orientation. We will send out more detailed information about the orientation in the next few weeks.

Current 7th Graders

We highly encourage any student that plans on participating in athletics next year, to complete and turn in the physical before summer. Rankone documents can also be completed for next year, starting April 1st. If these are completed before summer, it is one less thing to worry about before next school year begins. I will also be available to answer any questions.

Current 8th Graders

We highly encourage the current 8th graders to get their physicals completed at the High School that they plan to attend. This will allow trainers to keep the physicals of incoming 9th graders. It will also allow students to meet and talk to coaches and trainers that they will be working with the next 4 years. Rankone documents will also be available on April 1st.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and have a good weekend.
