Technology infrastructure and interactive learning opportunities are both key initiatives within  Burks Elementary. Burks is committed to providing opportunities for students to interact with the global community through use of technology tools such as online learning and social media.

Listed below are a few of the many ways we use technology at Burks Elementary:

• News Crew students shoot and star in their own morning announcements.
• Throughout the year we host  Tech Tuesday with different grade levels to show students the amazing things that they can create with their devices.
• Check out our Digital Learning Spaces in our media center; these areas allow students to collaborate and work on projects with their  devices.
• Students collaborate with classmates, other grade levels to create multimedia projects using digital tools
